Settings.cfg on Linux Server

Is this normal?

I tried copying my server.cfg as settings.cfg but that didnt work, then i tried the settings.cfg from my windows client, got some wierd array out of range error.

I\'ve also got some trouble with Pirates not being in a a faction, they are in undefined faction -1 or something.

Also, why did 5 pirates appear around sector 2 2 2 and i could not despawn them, i had to destroy_entity

The spawn \"protected\" mode didn\'t seem to work too well either as you were only protected very very close to the shop.

bump. still looking for an answer to this, i\'m thinking these two issues might be related?

Does anyone have a working server with settings.cfg that i could copy?
