Server Reject: Recent Patch

So with this "new security" "fix" everyone on my server is completely locked out of their faction and ships they built. None of us ever uplinked to STarmade with our nicks to access our server before, because it was never required.

Since this recent patch, it claims that you don't have to log in to UPLINK but you do. You cant just use your old nickname and login. So, of course, we login and we're all completely locked out of all of our ships and no longer part of our faction.

This is very frustrating. What can I do to fix ownership and the issues this new patch has caused?

You can:

-Delete the protected.txt file from the server\'s directory

-Try to make sure if the server doesn\'t prohibit non-authenticated accounts, the setting for this is in the server.cfg file in the server folder, and is called something like \"AUTHENTICATION_REQUIRED = true\", you have to make it \"false\".
