Rendering Error with Radeon x1300

I recently joined StarMade, and when I spawned in the world, all of the blocks were pitch black. I could still see space, the sun, stars, and the red glow off of ship thrusters. The GUIs are still visible as well. All of the blocks, however, appeared to be a void in space. It is very difficult to move around, build, or fly because it is impossible to tell blocks apart.

I use a Radeon x1300 graphics card with a newer version of OpenGL, although I'm not exactly sure if all of the other drivers are fully updated. Is there any way to fix this from my computer, or is it an issue with the game itself?
