As far as I can tell they only function to find other players so I think maybe "Telepathic Consciousnesses Detectors" would be more fitting until they actually do scanner things.
Yes I am aware that they disrupt radar-jamming/cloaking, but I don't think being anti-jammer jammers should be their sole function.
Hell the name Scanner would fit if they at least found ALL ships and not just players, or updated sector information for sectors you are not currently in.
