Would it be possible to give the astronaut a remote control device that acted like the core-activation beam.
It would be useful for closing garage doors, opening doors for visitors or adjusting lighting etc. without going into a core or walking with my legs like a chump.
The power beam is under-used so it could be given this role as well.
