It would be cool if you could construct additional Pylons, then connect them to a Ship Recycler (which acts like a big plexstorage you can ony take from)
It would work like this. You construct your Pylons around the Ship like a Wireframe. Then you active the Block and it starts to remove blocks from the ship inside. There could be a timer or rate of removal. Then you collect the blocks from the Ship Recycler's storage space.
As a permanent part of a Station it gives some Function to Starbase design other than "Big Hangar" or "Factory" If constructed large enough, it would provide a new "career" for Pilots as a Scrap Collecter. Any ship could be found and flown into the Ship Deconstructer.
Of course you could just give the player that "Crushed" the ship Credits instead of Blocks sidestepping the issue of where the Blocks go.
Also it allows an immersion based way to clear up all the dead / unused ships floating around the spawn and indeed most busy servers.
