So, the stations look amazing. "Like, totes amazeballz" I believe the internet would say.

But, what do you do with them?

All the doors are locked, so the only way to explore them would be to go into build mode and clip through the station. (and after exploring some interiors, some of them are REALLY nice).
Is there a way to "Buy" friendship with them, and open up some of the doors to the lounge area and whatnot? (not all the doors, most of them should be locked with an "Employees Only" signs above them or next to them)

Speaking about Employees, where are the people? There should be a dozen (ideally two dozen or more, to get the sense of the community for the bigger stations)(there should be some seated at "traffic control", one always doing maintenance, and the rest found in hallways or lounges "talking" to each other) and they all have some random generated name with some preselected text from a NOVEL worth of choices (maybe have a community/forum contest) and a few of them could even have a task/quest for you to do (involving something to do in-system) like go to the local desert planet and bring back 5 of each plant (like, have a indicator that you need to land on the planet and get +5 of each plant more than what you had in your inventory) or could be something like "a pirate blockade has formed in sector A,B,C; and we would like you to deal with it! (spawns a fleet of pirates in a nearby sector with a waypoint to them). Maybe even have mini-bosses! Or it could be stuff like: escort these freighters from this station to 2 shops and back to the station, and pirates of course attack you multiple times. I believe that this could be great fun, and could even be a way of adding mini-bosses to the game where it takes you and a group of friends to defeat some stronghold or rampaging capital ship.
Of course, make the stations more rare, maybe code the spawn rate to be 1-2 per star system?

And finally, can you damage these stations, or do some servers make their shields indestructible? And if you take out the faction blocks (they have one right?) you can own the station then, and modify it as you wish, right?
There should be a way to lease the station or buy it from the trading guild. Maybe like, purchase it for double of the net sum of the blocks worth?

These are all just ideas that came to me as I encountered my first trading guild station on the EE server the other day and felt like I had to share them. I also REALLY want to own that "Trade Hub by Vanhelzing" station because it looks soo darn cool.

The locked doors issue has been brought up but schema may have forgotten. Idk but I told him directly. Interactions with the trading guild will be more in depth in the future. Not sure about being able to damage trade stations.

Glad you like the station :D

the issue with them is actually a bug type issue of sorts. what happened was scheema didn't exactly say to the contest winners, how they were to be implemented. thus when we built them (that's right every single one was made by players like you!) we didn't check to make sure every door had permission modules on them, therefore now when he put them in, they are now totally inaccessible.

so now the only fix is to go back and reedit them one by one. that will take time.

That would really class as a bug then, more of an oversight. Quite honestly it sounds like something a tester could fix in their spare time as well.
