push and pull effect as after burners

    Something i would really like to see is these defensive effects being used more like afterburners than like a standard thruster offshoot. To keep them usable with logic, what i would like is for a simple slider that would adjust the power of the push. It would work a little more like a damage beam in terms of ticks and cooldown than an auto cannon on one side of the slider, and more like an auto cannon like it does now on the other side of the slider. With a cool down, the overall acceleration per second should remain the same, but you could use it for burst acceleration. It would also be able to push you over max speed on the higher side of the slider. Burst length and strength would both be adjustable, but would both affect cooldown.
