    Hurrah!

Hey Schema, what do you think of a mass range for scanners, like a maximum and minimum size a certain scanner can detect?
AKA, too big scanner won't detect small enough cloaked/jammed ships.

That...that sounds really illogical to me O-o

You'd need a dedicating array of scanners to get all the ships, instead of just one big scanner that would encourage/promote/help Titanmade.

Again seems illogical to me. The bigger the array usually means the smaller that things can be detected, not Vice Versa, However as our technology gets better, smaller and smaller arrays(radar dishes and such) are being used(at least in the navy) to be able to detect further, and smaller objects. Im not defending "titanmade" despite how much i love building large ships...but at least it makes sense in the current setup.

Edit: I will say, if the game actively distinguished between ship classes(Mining, Support, Attack/Defense/Carrier) i would agree with a need for multiple sensor arrays.

Dunno if its a bug or not, but after updating to the pre release from the dev build..i can no longer delete a large chunk of blocks(In this case 100x100x100 though most of thats empty) without an instant crash of the game,.

Those build tools look nice. I really love the independent symmetry modes. Damn sweet work.

Power will be in the next round of updates, but it is not in this one. We wanted to get build tools in so players had them to help refit.

Good work and thanks to the Shine team!
Does this update (or the release) also include some bugfixes for the shipyards? There was nothing mentioned in the list. But the list is probably incomplete.

I'm hoping that the next Dev Blog which will contain end goal documents will answer allot of these questions.

Woo bug fixes! Putting in the build tools before the power update in order to help us refit was also a nice touch :)

Nice approach... I'd prefered it the other way around though but whatever...
    Pre reads really well GJ!

Good call with the tools before the power demo imo. This update is full of quality-of-life features builders have wanted for a long time, plus lots of other stuff. I'm really happy with the feature list.

How far away are we looking at? What about the planets and universal reset update?
Power is soon, pre-release needs to stabilize before release, then the next dev builds will likely be power and more bug fixes.

We'll have news on planets and universe update when we can. Some of it is still in planning.
