So, some people know, i built the hangman and hit a cap around 345m power/sec regen, this was using 138 total, 3d groupings of power blocks to maximize the box dimensions per group. now adding some blocks to the end length can even REDUCE the total.... ive started building a more compact version of the Hangmans style of reactor groupings, and already have encountered the same inconsistencies, certain groupings arent calculating their 3d box or its math properly.
Further proof of this is Awrthurs ship, he has used large numbers of rather long 1d (linear) reactor groups to break 500m regen and he was still going last i heard from him... I know that the power system may be changed soon, but might this be a box dimension calculation problem more than a specific "power" bug? ill try doing some experiments, but im fairly sure SOMEthing isnt working right on the 3d groups, possibly the -Y dimension? Ill post an update shortly, if anyone has noticed a similar issue and can contribute to the reason behind it, please do, box dimensions effect more than just power
