Power challenge

We have all seen efficient 5x5x5 and 7x7x7 reactors but what about the big ships? Or cloaking ships? I challenge everyone to see who can build a 1million e/s reactor in the least amount of blocks possible (lowest mass). Im not talking smallest here, just fewest power block count.

A good one is 121/123x7x7.

You can get 1 million regeneration and 1 million storage.

(4,3,4,3,4,3,4 power lines each layer and the core inbetween the bottom one. The rest filled with power tanks or whatever you like).



Because a docking area is 9x9x9 (I guess) you can also add nice hull, more storage (for alternating amc and power drain) or equip shields/AMCs/thrusters to get a ship.

It is not the most efficient (that would be a line), but I guess it is very efficient if you count docking enhancers too, and also very versatile.



I have heard from some 23^3 cube reactor making 1 million.

My submissions:

A bent \'s\' with as many power blocks as it takes to get to 1 million power keeping as close to equal section length as practical.

A cube corner extended with as many power blocks as it takes to get to 1 million power keeping as close to equal section lenght as practical.

A cubic helix with as many blocks as it takes to get to 1 million power.

983 power generators + 1 core + 1 docking unit + (math.ceil(983-9) /2 =) 447 docking enhancers

That are 1432 blocks in total.

And only 1 mille regeneration per 9x9x983 blocks.
