Looked around for anyone else with this issue, did not see it mentioned. Haven't played since .19431, but I noticed today that the .19474 update snuck in a very exciting-sounding optimization for planet miners and I had to give it a try. While it definitely seems faster, there seems to be something wrong. and random chunks seemed immune to being mined. I disabled beam effects, and the blocks do indeed seem to light up. Picture demonstrates the boundary.

Note that all blocks in the image are in the immune state, however they seem to have arrived there at different times. A side view of that divide shows that I've somehow managed to mine the bottom out of that section without mining the top blocks, which are the ones being hit by the beams.

Side notes: Tested with normal firing and logic triggered firing.
Tested with missile computer slaved and damage pulse slave.
    Tested on freshly generated planet.

My best guess is that it is a combination of angle of mining and size of the mining array.

    Anyone else experience this?
