    1-They need to be brighter, even if you put them every 3 blocks you'll still have a tough time seeing the inside of your creation.

    2-They need more colours such as orange, purple pink ETC

    3-Flashing lights that can be controlled via the structure tab.

    Agreed that the lighting system isn\'t that great. The light is too intense from the source and doesn\'t extend far at all. It has an especially terrible time lighting up corners.

    1. They only need to light up a bigger area, not brighter

    2. I think making custom blocks with the colours is possible(I know it is with hull)

    3. I never encoutered a situation where I wanted to turn off my lights

    and also: lights should be able to light up other entities as well

    IF this suggestion gets real http://star-made.org/content/personal-defense-armor-weapons-boarding-robots-and-medicine then you would very much have a reason to turn of your lights.

    It would also be nice if you could use as floodlights or spotlights on ships(i.e. for moving through a derelict ship or station). Right now the lights only affect the ship that they are attached to.

    Lights need to have a longer range, become more even, (the center isn\'t blindingly bright) and hane a broader range of colors, like hulls need to.

    Would also be nice if lights on the exterior of a ship could light other objects besides the ship, for example have a small probe explore a dark cave or an unlit space station.

    And the light doesn\'t go around corners, at all, which is unrealistic.
