Planetary gravity does not seem to be effecting ships, and it is also only pulling my player down once i get below 5 blocks high or so. Im not sure on any specific trigger for this, it just seems to be a recent issue from the patching.
you seem to have to get the core of your ship and your character within 5 blocks high from the ground, however once triggured the gravity extends quite high, I think its a glitch
