Just a qq, can you still place down a faction block+build block on a planet then go into build mode to mine the entire planet? Sort of made mining redundant when I last played on a server with a friend .-.

No you can only mine the planet plate you place the buildblock on. And doing so doesnt yield you any ore. It is only usefull for building on the plate or removing the entire plate if you so wish.

You can remove all the blocks used to make paint and terrain but the ore used for everything else is only generated using a salvage beam on the blocks.
