Optional reviews under comunity content

Very simple suggestion. Add a checkbox in when uploading community content to enable/disable player reviews. Unchecked, no one will be able to leave a review. I have seen a lot of argument over players content recently and this would be a simple way of eliminating it. Some people like to flame peoples content, and this may stop it.

Some people like reviews. They should be able to have them on their content if they so choose.

Some people do not like reviews. They should be able to disable reviews on their content if they so choose.

No. Ship reviews are not for the ship creator - unless the review in question directly addresses the builders system/design choices. A review is supposed to be a quality check for the rest of the community. The ability to disable them will raise more issues than it solves. Especially when it comes to ships that aren't what the post advertises.

Posting content on the forums is opening yourself up to criticism. If people couldn't post reviews, they could still post threads about ships or review them in any other number of ways. It doesn't change much. Might as well make it easy for a person to leave their feedback.

I'm pretty sure by the amount of dank in that core upload page, you would have to be gullible to fall for that and to be honest, while it's just a core, it could represent an artistic and minimalist statement if we refer to what Saber said in one of his videos, "art in video games."

Fair enough. Personally though, it's not like we are paying for peoples content on here, where a review might be more important. It's relatively simple to remove something that was downloaded that isn't what it claimed to be.
