Option to disable the graphical effect of virtual ships in shipyards

The graphical effect of virtual ships in shipyards (loaded, but not yet built design) is horrible. Please allow us to switch it off. It even makes people sick:

Secondly, and more importantly, the shipyard effect for virtual blocks has the dubious honor of being one of only two things in video games that makes me physically sick and nauseous to look at . The other was trying to play Descent on a computer that had no business trying to run the game :p. For that reason alone, I never use a shipyard for anything that would require me to be up close and looking at a virtual block.

I do most of my building in shipyards, and I agree the effect is terrible. It makes it hard to see what I'm working on and artificially darkens everything so navigating the hologram is difficult.

I thought the effect was cool at first, but I do find it make me feel nauseous after a while.
