No installation found...

When manually downloading the latest build, how to you correctly install it for Mac? I had downloaded the test launcher version 12 which unfortunately will not update 14. I proceeded to manually download the newest version 14, yet do to the conflict with the old version no installation is found in: User/name/Desktop/starmade

Any Mac inclined people wish to enlighten me as to what I should be doing?

Try using the v14 Jar and making a new installation somewhere else, checking the installation location in the launcher settings.
