the game is great and I'm sure schema is working hard on the new UI, please don't forget to fix the power distribution arrows for the weapons, clicking 100 times gets old.
My favourite part of the game is the shield effects, I hope against hope that you would make a shield start-up animation, when you put the first generating block, that would cover the whole structure in a ripple that did not dissipate, start from one side and end on the other, that's what I'm dreaming right now.
I'm not a block making expert, but an interior corner block would be great.
A thought for after the game has been released and years have passed, mabey a tractor beam, i don't know how the physhics should work on them bu they would be awsome.
I don't know if mining planets from the bottom or sides with great mining barges is balanced, I would preffer a bedrock cup that holds them, or make them CUBICAL..., 6 directional gravity with diagonal edges might be too much to code, i can still dream
