Think about it having hiden turrets or/and weapons would surpise other players and turn the tide of a battle in seconds. Also a force-shields would be perfect protection (harder to get through than a normal plex door) for docking ships (if the force-shields are on a faction controled ship, only the same faction controled ships can go through them) when they need to be repair. The seperation hulls would go with the explovie blocks, (can't remember their name, the one explode on contact) they just break off form the main ship and sit there umtill they are hit by an object.
