More factions and things like galactic war

There should be more factions like factions that are passive to you but fight each other upon contact. Also another pirate faction which would allow for a three sided fight. There should be way a way to join a faction that way you can get missions. Maybe there will be a faction of ships that follow you but when spotted hang back and duck behind an asteroid. This could allow for a sort of story involved in Starmade like how you got to that point and would make single player way more interesting. Maybe also the occasional battle among factions that would show fighters being deployed from a mother shop and attacking another ship. Maybe a faction like tyranids or another like Eldar with craft worlds and maiden worlds. That would make Starmade so fun.

Umm... Am I wrong in thinking that starmade already has an AI system? Because you can do must of that stuff anyways with the AI, right?
