Mobile performance & animated ads

I'm not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this, but sometimes I get horrendous performance on starmadedock when browsing from my phone (Nexus 5, stock KitKat). Horrendous performance meaning less than a frame per second, multi second response times when clicking and the back of my phone actually getting hot. The performance only seems to drop when the ad at the bottom of the page gets loaded, the last one I noticed was one for assassin's creed syndicate on ps4 I believe.

I'm totally fine with ads, but would it be possible to only show static ads for mobile? (if they are indeed the cause of this and it's not just some random other issue).

My N5 running stock 5.1.1 is fine on the site. Upgrade ya silly scrub

but yeah, the ads on this site are silly.

I don't see how that is helpful? How will telling him that let him stop getting animated ads that cause lag on his phone?

I totally look at ps4 games by ubisoft all day. Anyway, mistyped OP, I'm actually on lollipop.
It's also not every single ad, just 1 in 50 or so? It's still weird regardless.
