Missiles not working on planet

Hello!

I'm attempting to build a missile array on my planet, but I can't seem to get it to work. Whenever I attempt to fire them, the small fire icon that appears around the reticule shows (momentarily), but no missile actually comes out?

It works with lasers no problem, but just won't work with my missiles. Any help?

The set up I'm using is:

Activation module > Missile computer > Missiles

What type of missile system is it? If it is a single missile system then it will dumbfire and it might be going through the planet when you fire it depending on the orientation of the computer.
