hi just wondering if any skilled ship builder could build a ship like the orca from eve online that could in a way auto unload ore from a drone fleet mining ship if it docked? dont have to be fast but heavy defended shield wise at least. looking to introduce some to my server as a few pilots have already started into using the drone mining fleets. hope i post this message in right place if it in wrong section im sory.

Actually, this is very easy to accomplish. Hit 'c' while facing the storage block on the mothership, the one that will end up holding all the mined stuff. Click 'v' on the rail basic that the drone will end up connecting to. On the drone, click 'c' on the storage block, and 'v' on the rail docker. Make sure to turn off the 'pull items' on the drone's storage. This may mess up the automation since I think you need that storage to pull from the salvagers on the drone. Unless salvagers can actually push mined items to storage. I don't know.
Here's the video Schine did when they released the cargo patch, at the point where they discuss how to get cargo to automatically transfer from one ship to another (or to a station, etc).
EDIT: Crap, embedded links to YouTube don't take into account the "Start at" feature of YouTube links. Just go to the 2 minute mark to see their bit on how to transfer cargo.
