Maximum sustained DPS with 1million e/sec

    Hi all,

    As most of you already know, the power generation sweet spot is right around 1 million e/sec, and it is rarely worth it to pile on the extra generators needed to get substantially above 1 million e/sec.

    Piling on additional AMCs does not result in extra DPS if your power system cannont make them fire.

    It has been tested and confirmed that unlinked AMC blocks do higher dps than the same number of linked blocks would do, however they are FAR less efficient in regard to power to DPS ratio.

    So, I pose this question to the community: Assuming that the number of AMC blocks used is no object, what is the maximum possible DPS that can be fired infinitely without recharging given that your ship is right at the 1 million e/sec curve?

    Keep in mind that if there is a large number of individual arrays, it is not practical at this time to use and dps overrid functions because of the current state of the GUI (waaaay too much clicking. Please let us edit multiple arrays at once, and use typing or slider bars please!).



    Post your maximum achieved AMC dps here! I will do som efine tuning and do the same.

    It\'s far too many projectiles fired at once to keep your framerate above 1.

    Note that this is only matters for aimed arrays - for turrets , there is no energy issue.

    In theory , the maximum power usable for a single array is 2 millions/s on a cloaking ship , 3 millions/s on a simple chaindocked ship , and infinite on a capship with auxiliary generators being drained by another crew.
