I know there have been several threads suggesting "hologram" blocks, but it occurs to me now that it probably is very codable (though probably still a bit of work) at this point by harnessing the LoD system.
If a hologram block had to be pre-loaded with a Design file, and then built an LoD model of the ship or station loaded, it should be able to easily "project" that LoD sprite within a single block area.
Then you just need settings on the holo for spin rate (1-180 degrees/sec), transparency level (opacity %), and perhaps even block radius (so that a design could be projected within a 1-block, 3x3x3-block, or 5x5x5 block frame or whatever).
Not priority, obviously, but would be a very cool use of the LoD system to decorate things.
