I'm looking for the save files so that I can delete the latest one (my ship blew up from a blueprint pirates) but I can't find them! Does anyone know where they are?

    (Edit: I'm looking for autosaves.

all is stored in the server-database folder within your starmade folder.
If you have the name of an entity, you can delete it in there(be sure to delete both .ent and .smd2 files of an entity)

Thanks, got rid of a lot of junk.
What about deleting the last auto save where my ship that I spent hours on blew up can i delete that?

(Edit: Do the logs have anything to do with it?

(Edit the Edit: If I delete the latest log will I be back in my ship?

the log is simply a file that tells you what is happening on the server. It is used to debug the game and for admins to see what is causing lag, along with all of the chat. It is in no way related to saves, and deleting it does nothing.

One last try: Is there a mod to locates/ telports you to entitys / ships? Or at least marks 'em on the map? (like in other sectors)

Go ingame, type into chat /search [ship name WHEN BOUGHT]
that will give you the locations of all the entities in database with that string in it.

Then /change_sector [location] and boom, you will be moved to the sector. Sometimes you won't be able to get it, the files have remained, but nothing is left in the sector.
