Bug Lighting Issue

I placed down a White Plex Light, Turned it on.
But It seems to light up "weirdly" It lights up just a tiny tiny tiny little bit.

I am new to StarMade, haven't played since August 2013.

My processor is AMD A8-6410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics, 2.00 GHz
RAM 4GB (3.46GB Usable)
64-Bit OS + Windows 8.1 Single Language

Not an issue with your computer. It's the game. Think of it like this. You have your ship and the sun. The sun only lights up the ship from one side. If the light you placed is in the shadow of the sun then it will appear dimmer because it is in a shadowed area. It doesn't make sense realistically. It also does not seem to happen all the time as I experience it less now. Maybe I have gotten used to it.
