Lag Issues With Debris

The debris effect is absolutely amazing!
Despite this, when fighting with decently sized ships; the effect lags out my game badly [0 fps].
Is there any fixes to this issue. [Tried reducing the debris time and other graphics settings]

If you reduce debris life time to 0 it will simply disable them, that should fix your problem. The feature is still being optimized by the way.
