Klingon Bird of Prey 1:1 scale

Hi

I have decided to build a Klingon fleet, starting with the Bird of Prey (original size). This is at 1:1 scale so measures 110 metres long.

Unfortunately, she doesn't cloak for any longer than a second.

Next on the list is the K'tinga Class...almost finished now with just the downward swoop of the wings and the nacelles to do.

Very good job! Also, the space station is perfect. The planet is Qo\'nos i suppose.

I cant wait to see Vor\'cha and Negh\'var. Is there a bridge room on that Bird of Prey?

Very nice! But I think its to small, according to \"Star Trek: Klingon Bird-of-Prey Haynes Manual\" its 140m in size.

According to the Star Trek fact files the original BoP was 110m long...this has been altered a few times through the years for various reasons with the new design being MUCH larger and given a new class. For this I went with the original class size of 110m. It\'s like the Vorcha...some star trek blueprints show the rear shuttle bay being between the impulse engines and some show it being above in the sensor module.

This depends on which Bird of Prey you\'re thinking of. I believe the 140m BOP is a B\'Rel Class, one of the smaller ones. BUT, the BOPs go all the way up to the massive Negh\'Var class at over 700 meters long - and ALL the classes are pretty much scaled-up versions of the B\'Rel class.

The Original Klingon battle Cruiser is a D7 Bird of prey, the design was sold to the Romulan Star Empire in exchange for the Roumlan Cloaking technology that was latter equiped on all Klingon ships. It was known as a D7 Battle Cruiser.
