hi there, my idea was to make it possible to make the AI block like a little computer. if you open up the interface you have a basic javascript console wich you can program your AI in. i know there are things out there that will allow to run javascript inside other programs like starmade. the console would not have acces to cheaty things like block manipulation or money making. it would however be able to acces the ships utilities that its on. for example it will be able to use the weapons computer or any kind of othjer computer on the ship to use those beams and laser for things like astroid salvage. also i would suggest adding sensor blocks so the AI would be able to map out its surroundings.
