The Module System would allow you to install "modules" on your ship.
For Example: Rocket Engines or Hangar Bays.

To install a module you would first need to...... build one! (LOGIC). (if you saved a module in your catalog just load it)
You should have to put a Module block on it, and a Module Install Block on the ship you
want it to be installed on.
When you have these blocks on both your ship and module you could install it the same
as you would dock a ship, while instead of the core, the module block is the point
from which it gets [installed] into the ship and the module would merge with the ship.
That means the shipcore will get removed and it becomes permanently attached to the ship
    on which it is installed.

    For example:
guns docked to ship = Power + No Shield + Not Controllable= static guns that pirates will destroy ;(

guns installed on ship = power + Shield + Controllable = WORKING GUNS WITH SHIELDS !!! :)

thruster setup docked = power + No shield + Not Controllable = doesn't work :(

thruster setup installed = power + shield + Controllable = THRUSTERS WORK!! :)

    saving working parts/components in catalog:

docking system: only energy to docked entity :l

module system: merges with ship :]

As long as it does not evade the 1 million regen limit rule, or buff shields beyond their inverse exponential power by protecting the modul with two shields (modul+ship - they should be one, else it wouldn\'t be a modul)

Just use build blocks as corners of the module box to define it. Or docking enhancers.

    • If they see all others in the same x/y/z axis (6 directions), each (8-corner) box can be a modul
    • if two boxes use at least one corner together, they are both part of the same tetris-modul.
    • you select a modul by selecting a corner box which is used by this modul.

If you use docking enhancers, merge green and red enhancers and make them orange. each array can only have 1 master - so there will be no disadvantages + 1 less block in your shop list.

BTW: Maybe (for cost and weight reasons) let turrets require 2* as many blocks. This would also remove the ant-carring-titan-syndrome.
