Installing problem

I just downloaded the game form the download page but when it needs to instal the update it gets stuck at 0% or at 1%.

I already tried to open it with administator or download it seperately but those things didn't work.

Does anyone know why this is?

Try downloading the build from here http://files.star-made.org/build/archive/ and extracting it to a folder called \"StarMade\" in the same directory of the launcher.

What is the problem when you manually download?

It just stops downloading at 1%

This is what there is standing under the download progression:

current version: v0.0; build undefined; launcherVersion: 8.A new Version is Available!

No installation found in A:\\Games\\StarMade.

The download server might be under heavy load when you\'re trying to download, wait a little longer and it might speed up.



Also, your firewall or antivirus may be blocking the download.

I already saw someone saing that on another forum earlyer today, but how long is \'a little while\'?

Because i have let it update for over an hour but it is still at 1%

I think I know what the problem is. Try de-activating your anti-virus program. If you\'re unable to turn it off as I was (I\'m using AVG) just uninstall the anti-virus program and restart your computer. After sucessfully uninstalling your anti-virus program you can proceed to install starmade.

I\'ve had the exact same problem with minecraft. I think it has to do something with java and maybe AVG.

:D Thanks for that, I WAS also using AVG but this isn\'t the only game i couldn\'t play because of it.

But now I can play them all, including StarMade.
