Hello! I just want to share a cool little experiment i did while playing StarMade. I flew inside the sun! {[WARNING]Don't try this with some amazingly good-looking ship!}
My ship that is used for the experiment is in the website catalog under the name "SpeedOfSoundShip" (it was originally made to go the speed of sound..but failed).
[These intstructions are for if you use my ship]
1. Open the server.cfg in your starmade installation and set THRUST_SPEED_LIMIT to something high like 1000 (to speed up the flying)
2. At high speeds, fly right towards the sun. (if it dissappears, dont worry and keep flying)
3. Keep flying until there is a notification that the sun is damaging your hulls (intensity 80.0)
4. Slow down to a speed of ~100 km/h (assuming you did step 1)
5. Fly at that speed until you seem to be inside a sphere of swirling redness.
6. Stop and enjoy the scenery.
[you will get a notificaton like the first (intensity 666.0)]
You will not die if you get out of the ship [BUG] but your ship will deteriote very quickly.
