I'm sure this has been suggested before but if it hasn't this is what I am suggesting.
Instead of a simple text input, maybe a dropdown with maybe up to 5 slots for different names.
It would benefit those who perhaps share an installation with a friend or relative and or those who have multiple characters.
The dropdown could link in with alternate skins to save having to go to the options and changing it every time you switch character.
