Ignore "Warning: Ram Low" Message?

I am using Star-Made V 0.1421, and I allocate 5,120,000 kb of ram for SM upon launch, but I always seem to get low ram warnings, while SM tells me it is using 500,000 kb out of 700,000 allocated. It seems the Java-VM increases the ram when needed so is it safe to ignore this message or are my settings corrupt or game copy corrupt?
