I just don't understand how people make such amazing ships, while I am struggling to build a simple one. I have build a small ship that can hold its own in a fight against a pirate or two. But thats it. Everytime I try to build a new ship I just get fustrated and quit. I can build pretty well in Minecraft, buildings, roads, etc. But when it comes to StarMade and designing a ship with weaponry and defenses I just can't do it. Can anyone here help me with my problem? I love this game but I just can't build good ships!

[Info] StarMade by the numbers - Part 1 - AntiMatter Cannons (and how less is more)
[Info] StarMade by the numbers - Part 2 - Power Blocks (and why a solid block is very inefficient)
[Info] StarMade by the numbers - Part 3 - Missiles (and why explosions are fun)
[Info] StarMade by the numbers - Part 4 - Power Storage Blocks (and why you need to go big or go home)
[Info] StarMade by the numbers - Part 5 - Block Armor and HP (and why hull is currently only good for looks)

It\'s always good to have an idea in mind before you start building your ship. Try drawing it first, if you want to make it pretty :P

Also, the bigger it is, the more freedom you\'ll have with weaponry and systems.

Build tip: Place the core in the middle of your design, more protection and may help with turning. Also, you\'ll want a viewpoints on your ship. Place multiple cockpits in case one gets destroyed.

    Hope this helps :)
