How to use beta launcher as startup on desktop?

Very simple question, is there a way to select the beta launcher as the startup on the desktop? It's not that big of a deal, but it would be nice to have

If you're using Steam I believe it isn't possible. Dunno about the non-Steam launcher though, haven't used it in ages.

I'm using steam and using the beta launcher. Can't remember how. I believe it gave me the option when installing it from steam.
