How to secure Starmote?

Hey guys!
Currently working on getting a small StarMade server going on a Linux VPS. I noticed I could log into my server using the StarMote tool under any username, admin or not, and make changes. This is concerning. Is there a config line I can change or something to make this more secure?

Set "USE_STARMADE_AUTHENTICATION = true" in your server.cfg. Make sure to add at least one admin to the admin.txt file and restart the server (you can use admin commands to do so). If you don't add at least one username to this file anyone has admin rights by default.

If you've followed the steps above any other player should not be allowed to connect via StarMote. You will get disconnected and an error message will appear "Only admins allowed"
