How about... Light switches and lights power draw

    I think that it would be a good idea for those giant builds or those computers that cannot take the load of so many objects being rendered at different light levels that you implement a light switch. This light switch block would be connected via the usual methods to different light blocks to have a remote way of turning them on and off.

    This could also make it so that lights could have resource draw that makes it so that lighting massive areas of the ship may cause you to have less available for all your weapon / shield systems.

    Just an idea. Sorry if it has already been mentioned, just trying to help with fleshing out the game.
