Help with Auto Missiles

    (Not sure in which section this Thread would fit, any Moderator move the thread to where it belongs to if needed)

    So I'm trying to make disintegrator missiles that can undock themselves and head to whatever I'm targetting.
    How could I possibly do this?

    I tried first making the "Auto-Target" test by making a single missile, I activated the AI, and did all the jazz, yet the AI didn't start moving towards what I had targeted, the missile had enough thrust, power, etc to let the AI move on its own, what am I doing wrong?

    It should be noted that disintegrators don't count as "Weapons" by the AI and they will not react to enemies unless you link a real weapon system to the core

    I don't have a lot of experience with Ship torpedoes but have you tried to add a damage pulse to the missile? last i heard if a ship has a damage pulse as its main weapon the AI will attempt to ram its target
