I have 2 graphic card a GTX 970 and intel graphics card. Starmade is using the intel graphics card, How do I make starmade use the GTX 970 and not the intel graphics card

Open the "Nvidia control panel".
Under "3D settings" you should be able to the different GPUs to the different programs["javaw.exe" and "java.exe" are the ones for starmade].
If you can't open the nvidia control panel, or can't select a GPU, it means that the GPUs have their own monitor-outputs, and you should plug the monitor cable into the GTX's video-port instead of the motherboard's port.
