Getting pirates to use your ship?

So I've built a ship, Now how do i get the pirates to use it? Do i need to put a bobby ai thing in the ship? Are there any specific limitations to the ships that the pirates van use?

There\'s no limitations. Open catalog, and go to admin tab. Select permissions for your ship blueprint and enable enemy use.
