    Please use these colors (you can copy&paste this) for your posts:

    UserName's "Classification's name" (size=7, fat)
    Notes (size=4, color = 2nd row / 5th column from right)

    Gate Classification ideas of yours, but not the first of yours in this thread. (size=5 + fat)
    Notes (size=4)

    You can post any classifications you find like this:

    NeonSturm's "Easy Gate-Size"
    (classification system)
    1. Number of digits of smallest inner diameter ={ (0= bacon), (1=0..9), (2=10..99), (3=100..999), ...}
    2. Most significant decimal (the first one) of the smallest diameter (0 for a bacon with no inner diameter)
    3. -
    4. decimal = ratio{ (0 = 1:1), (1= 2:3), (2 = 1:2), (3 = 1:3), (4 = 1:4), (5 = 1:5), ... }
    • Example (99 * 100) = 29-0
      • 2 = length(99)
      • 9 = most significant(99)
      • 0 = closest ratio(99:100)
    • Example (100 * 150) = 31-1
      • 3 = length(100)
      • 1 = most significant(100)
      • 1 = closest ratio(100:150)
    1. Advantage: all gate-classes have equal length
    2. Easy to do standard-gate sizes
    3. You don't get distracted by less significant parts of huge numbers.
    4. Numbers look cool
    And use in your posts:

    Quote source-x [green/red/yellow colors added by "MyName"]
    I like this thread, I hate cats, water is blue, I love it because the user before loves it, more random text...
    Green : like
    Red : dislike
    Yellow : invalid argument

    As it is a lot shorter with many arguments in a quote. Why else do we have colors? :)

    I will be completely honest, I cannot understand any of the things you post when you format it this way. All I see are equations that have no meaning. I think the interpretation is lost on me and possibly some others.

    Haha, at @NeonSturm really likes numbers. That being said, I also don't really know waht he is talking about. I think I get the main idea, that gates are classified by by their biggest diameter and heir hight? I'm not entirely sure, so an explanation would still be nice.

    True :)

    By their smallest diameter. The width / height ratio is a number (the third one).

    NOTE: Added more details to my classification. Can't understand peoples with no math :p

    All I want is the ability of area triggered gates instead of a 2d loop as an option. Could also be used to make wormholes. Wormholes that are obvious because there are a ton of module blocks nearby but a wormhole all the same.

    Loops are not wrong, but they are more efficient on longer (thus bigger) ships. Just give them area trigger texture and make them non-physical in StarMade/data/config/blockConfig.xml
