Fix:
For me, I was using outdated graphics drivers. I'd thought of updating my dedicated graphics card drivers, however not my integrated intel graphics drivers. Once I updated my integrated drivers, it worked fine.
Of course, this isn't ideal, since I'm then not using my graphics card to run with the game, but I don't see it as a big problem since I'm getting 100+ FPS in-game.

Note: I saw a thread on this, but it was from April, thought I should probably make a new one.
My problem is that I get to the window where it's loading everything. It gets to the line where it's loaded fonts, then the window closes. Nothing else, it just closes.
In the other thread I saw, schema suggested disabling sounds, however that did not help. I also talked to some people in chat, who suggested installing Java 6 and using that, which also did not help. Is there a fix for this?
