ive been playing for a little bit and i accidently caught the attention of some badguys. now there floating around my spawnpoint blowing up my ship before i can F*CKING DO ANYTHING. is there anyway to reset the game?

In the \"Connection Setup\" part of your launcher you can use Tools -> Reset universe, a backup will be automatically made.

select each bad guy with F and /destroy_entity
