heya guys, seems i been as king alot of questions but i guess there is no better way to learn right? I have searched around but cant find nothing to solid so figured i would ask the community.

    1) I noticed that some people are able to change the colors of their lasers and what not. How is this accomplished? cant really find much about it and what i did find was horribly outdated.

    2) Is it possible to enable and disable a weapons effect on the fly other then having to go into the weapons tab and drag and drop?

    3) Pirates - is there any sort of random to it or? i tossed some big ships in there for only the pirates to use but most things i run into are fighters. i would like to have them try and raid me a lil more tho, certainly makes it fun.

    4) Shields (capacity vs Recharge) just a little question about the formula for this. I read ppl say 2:1 so 2 cap blocks per every 1 recharger block? I tried adding quite a few into my ship and seems when im under attack it never goes above 6% recharge rate. Is this the proper way to do it or am i doing it wrong.

    4) When under attack recharge rate is severely reduced. That is why it is at 6%, ie. 6% of your real recharge capacity.

    1) Attach a light to your weapon computer using C and V
    2) Not that I know of
    3) In the set up menu there is pirate difficulty
    4) Shields only recharge at 6% while under fire. More recharge blocks will still increase the amount of shields being recharged since it is 6% of your total recharge.

    3) you can also simulate ambushes by using
/spawn_mobs (blueprintName) (factionID[-1 for pirates]) (amount)
