Extending beam range

Good day Gents, I was wondering if one of you would know how to increase the range of beam weapons. I have always assumed it is possible is the server.cfg file, however I didn't see anything relating to increasing weapon ranges. I am sure its there if you would like to point it out for me.

Also - all weapon ranges are scaled with sector size - so increasing the size of your sectors will also increase the range of your weapons.

Thanks for the info Azereiah. You don't happen to know the exact value I should be changing in the blockbehavoirconfig.xml to increase the range of beam weapons do you?

Also thanks for the impute Crusader, I'll probably change the sector size if I can't find a way to directly change beam weapon range.
