Door colours

I'm not to worried about differant shapes because i know that'll be difficult. But how hard can it be to make coloured doors? Couldn't you just, copy the code for a normal plex door. and change its colour and ID?

i just think this'll be good. my ship is all red on the bottom and then there is just this gray slab for a hanger..

But I would go deeper.



Let PlexDoors take the texture and color from neighbouring things and add some door-overlay.

First PlexDoor has the index1, second one which does that has index 2...

A PlexDoor in the middle will choose either the lower number, use some transition or use one of both. It should prefer above over below over front over back over left/right.



This way, you can create doors which fit into ice, lava, a machine-room door or hardened-styled door.
