It would be a huge quality of life improvement if:
1. Heatseeker missiles did not target your own turrets/docked ships
2. If AMCs did not damage both docked ships and turrets
I do enjoy how your guns can shoot through your own ship since it allows for more ship designs to be viable, but it is silly to have to vaporize my poor docked fighters in the bay or my helpless turrets. As stated before shooting through your own ship allows for more ship designs, but the friendly fire on docked stuff severely limits designs that include them.
I have not monkeyed around with faction tags etc given I am playing it solo, but I haven't read anything that suggests it would fix this.
